Twelve months has passes and things really hotted up over the year from this web site. There have been threats and pissed off people both venue and drag. So now I am totally revamping this site so in the new year it will be bigger and better, revamped, edited, upgraded and a visually amazing jamieleedgrag.com. And whats more a fabby retired woman like myself is back doing production on Thursday nights with my gal pal Destiny Forbidden and hosting my own little gig on Mondays at DnM Bar and Night Club
Since the launch of this site it has grown form 80 hits a week to almost 9000 hits a week with people reading and sending messages at all times of the night and day . In a short few months the site has been lucky enough to obtain a huge following that hang on the edge of their seat either hoping to be or dreading that they might be featured here. They also seem to adore all the pics fun and gossip that feature each week.
So it is still time to be CAREFUL OF THE LITTLE MAN IN A DRESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as someone was once said this year which will be my catch cry for ever more.
Basically as you all know I'm a boring, retired old show girl who is the artificially inseminated love child of Phylis Diller and Joan Rivers who was once a bit famous for a few minutes, with to much time on my hands and sick of sitting on the third floor balcony of my fabulous Albert Park mansion, Skye Manor, sipping cheap wine and getting sloshed by 10am every morning. Not that this will change in any way shape or form. However, i will endeavour next year on each and every Mondays or Tuesday depending on how huge the weekend was, will be a day of drinking less and putting the updates on this site. F... K it doesn't take much to be a legend does it! And now back in a few shows makes me even more glammy.
I have come out of seclusion as I promissed taking up driving my gold-plated Roller limo town car for a spin in the afternoon when the DTs don't get the better of me and zapping around to venues in my convertable Merc Benz. Of course I dont drive that often although looking amazing in the drivers seat of the Benz does tickle my fancy (yes FANCY not FANNY) but I have my excluse driver who lives in my garden shed to run me around
On a Sundays you will often find me being driven around by my chauffeur in my 1957 Pink Cadillac Convertible enjoying the afternoon.
Other days you may find me skinny dipping in my fabulous Clark Rubber above ground pool next to the Hills Hoist wher you will see that I have spent the day sorting the colours from the whites and hanging them out to dry in the back yard or find me getting an all over tan or in my fabulous pump up spa whilst my personal gardener the former human experimental medical scientist from Yugoslavia from the Solbadan Molsovich days (some how I don't think he has a visa. I am yet to confirm either way though) pushes around the Victor.
You may also from time to time gain glimpses of the beautiful Jamie Lee Drag boys who live in the mansion with me, Skye Manor, spending their days parading around in jock straps, g strings and speedos attending to my more personal needs, (if you know what I mean) as well as escorting me to functions and events.
Often over the weekends my personal man servant who was once a former cross dressing call girl for the King of Tonga, and sometimes the King of Moomba will be assisting me as I travel from venue to venue picking up all the gossip of the week and snapping picture for your viewing pleasure. My resident and personal photographer will also be with me.
You will find on this site all the information you wish you knew about Melbourne's fabulous show girls but no one was game to talk about. I am here to let my snapper hang out and snap as many as I can as quick as I can.
Plus there are profiles and pictures of each of your favorate show girls for your viewing pleasure. You will even find tributes to those that are no longer with us and a bit about the Melbourne drag scene history.
In addition to myself getting out there and doing it, at an enormous cut to my personal fortune and after hocking a few of my diamonte necklaces I have engaged in a top secret meeting, a number of undercover paparazzi reporters who will be roaming the clubs and pubs taking pics and collecting information for your reading and viewing pleasure. They will also have their snappers hanging out.
So in closing just rember............ BE CAREFUL OF THE LITTLE MAN IN A DRESS...... as you might feature here in my tit bits. But I am sure you would prefer that you don't appear here for everyone to read because if you do it can't be good hahahahahaha.
But for the next little while as Chrismas approaches and we wait for the Cande Claus to arrive this site will be revamped over the Summer and be back bigger and better in 2012
